How pathetic. >:(
There are millions of starving people on this planet. People dying every minute of every day due to a simple lack of water.
I find it extremely rude and arrogant that someone has suggested a fuel pump, a welder, a bloody router???????
All of the above are things we DO NOT NEED!
Where is your sense of Humanity? We are all equal, we all need the basics to survive.... the basics to persevere.... we do not need a Belkin bloody router.
Get a grip!
I've also asked for a VXR8.

Oh hold on. I thought this was a "what does TB want" thread.
In that case, dear Santa;
Bigger garage, preferably en suite. Bigger drive. Bigger house in a rural location.
Although not necessarily bigger. More .....spacious.
Not toooo much to ask, I don't fink, prety please, uncle Santa. 😇 :)

Oh, Lizzie.......and I had such a high opinion of you. ;) :-* :-* :-*
Rolex watches are crass and brash. They are only suitable for brain dead footballers and their WAGS. Only Rolex can made an £8000 watch look like a £10 watch from the petrol station.

Dragging on a bit that one, but it seems par for the course. If you're anything like me you will be quietly seething but, in the long run, that's the worse thing you can do. It will make you ill eventually.
Think nice thoughts and look forward to next spring, when it should all be sorted and your new orangery will be going up. Even if you get a payout sooner, the spring is the best time for building work, and you'll probably have to book your builders well in advance.
Cheer up old boy :-*

I would like a full range of air fresheners and an anti mist pad for clearing the inside of my windscreen at Farnborough station (the air fresheners will kick in to overcome the damp smell - well a bit any way)

No I wouldn't trust Santa with that job. But the premises would help greatly. :)

Ooooo, I bet I could get discount... ...but:
a) not sure it would suit me
b) I don't own a watch any more, or have a desire to own one
As an aside, did you know Rolex are a charity? And that is also one of the reasons its virtually impossible for jewellers to be allowed to sell Rolex.

My claim, initially started in July 2013, was finalised last month.

Are we sure this isn't the "what chrisgixer wants for xmas" thread ;D.
Whilst a bigger garage would be useful, I have no desire to move at the moment. 2 doors down would have been nice, but it wasn't possible to sell mine with a load of rubble in the garden, and no garage.
Sadly, I think you may have missed the boat on your ideal home ((almost!!) within your budget). Maybe the option will come up again :y

You are talking about the cheap metal cased ones Opti. The top end ones, starting at about £8,000 just leap out at you with their diamonds and gold, shinning wherever you go, oozing class and sophistication, with their second hand gliding, not stuttering, around it's pretty face. 8) 8) :-* :-* :-* :-* :y

Really TB? Why is it that wherever you go the top jewellers sell with pride Rolex watches? ??? ??? ???
PS This is the official Rolex web site listing the retailers of their watches; only the best!

For the first time in forty years I purchased a Sekonda watch. Simple elegant design with a brown leather strap. Cost £30.
My last Sekonda was manufactured in the old USSR, and despite having 17 jewels (whatever that means) was total crap. :(

I inhereted a nice Hong Kong Rolex from an Uncle... apparently it was a couple of hundred dollars when he bought it, so clearly not the usual chinese rubbish ;D
Works a treat, if I remember to change the battery that is ::) but possibly a bit brash for work :-\ It feels bloody heavy too, but that's probably due to my not having worn a watch for the thick end of 18 years ::)

Might be worth a few bob, Al......or not. ::)
Possibly... if I change the battery ;D
I believe Mistress Lizzie is looking for an elegant timepiece to adorn her slender wrist. :)
She is partial to a Rolex.

Missus bought one of those Hong Kong Rolex for 50$. 25 years ago, its still going strong. If 'i' too remember the battery... :-[

Or should he go for front calipers on the rear with 360mm phaeton discs and q7 calipers on the front?

You mentioned that earlier in the thread.
I know you are struggling with the concept, but I have no need to change my brakes. Thus I am not going to.
Understand it, absorb it, get over it, and move on.

Oh don't worry. Fully absorbed, etc. ...but you see it's not me that's struggling. Clearly. Wether you agree, or do so, is of no concern. Not my car see! ;D
The point is, you DO need to. That's all there is to it. :P

Grinder/flap wheel to clean up the metal prior to using your new welder. Welding accessories?
Inverter for camping.
Calming CD's for when you're driving. ::)
Kyrobak
Padded slippers/wheelchair
Parachute for the garage door (ok, apologies, bit harsh that one)
Bath shelf for the laptop/tea cup
Weekend break for you both
Would you prefer tool related suggestions or personal gifts? :-\

I wracked my brains, thought of nothing, then decided that my iPad was knackered so I'd have a new one. It's now ok with iOS8 so back to nothing.
Son Ben has been bought a new ipad air and wifey has got a garmin watchy gps thingy for running so that's their main pressies sorted.

I'm sure Mr's TB is quite used to it being there now, may as well leave it there.
-
;D ;D
I have a set of the red (as in your picture) and the black.. considering getting a second set of red and moving the black into the workshop though.
Not that I ever do any work in the workshop.. or the garage for that matter.

She's been surprisingly kind to me over the past couple of weeks. I think she understands how debilitating a poor hoof can be.

Mind you, you'll probably open the garage door and find revenge on Mrs TB's part, is a dish best served cold - There will be a fully fitted kitchen in there.

There's a bloody great unit in there that should be in the lounge, preventing me from getting to the jack ;D

Try adding the matching Britool step-up box. Now I have to stand on something to get small stuff off the top.

Yes TB isn't exactly tall either. Maybe he needs a pit for his tool box for Xmas?

Round is the most economical shape for heat retention.

Hmmm, still struggling with ideas, and having a large family, it means I need lots of ideas.
I've told her about the cutting discs that Mark suggested.
More ideas?

How about a lovely spa day (not the racing circuit). You strike me as the kind of fellow who would enjoy a nice massage from 'Jules' followed by a facial and a nice relaxing sauna. :-* :-*
