How pathetic.  >:(

There are millions of starving people on this planet.  People dying every minute of every day due to a simple lack of water.

I find it extremely rude and arrogant that someone has suggested a fuel pump, a welder, a bloody router???????

All of the above are things we DO NOT NEED!

Where is your sense of Humanity?  We are all equal, we all need the basics to survive.... the basics to persevere.... we do not need a Belkin bloody router.

Get a grip!

I've also asked for a VXR8.

Having brought nearly all the stuff I want I am in a position where I don't need anything huge (getting welder in 7 days  :) :) :) :)) I am asking for some wee bits....

Big metal drill bit set
Metal clamps
90 degree magnet thingy
Spare bottles of CO2 for welder
Spare welding wire
Angle grinding/cutting disc pack.

Not particularly ''exciting'' on xmas day but useful  :)

Although not necessarily bigger. More .....spacious.

Rolex watches are crass and brash. They are only suitable for brain dead footballers and their WAGS. Only Rolex can made an £8000 watch look like a £10 watch from the petrol station.

Dragging on a bit that one, but it seems par for the course. If you're anything like me you will be quietly seething but, in the long run, that's the worse thing you can do. It will make you ill eventually.
Think nice thoughts and look forward to next spring, when it should all be sorted and your new orangery will be going up. Even if you get a payout sooner, the spring is the best time for building work, and you'll probably have to book your builders well in advance.
Cheer up old boy  :-*

Are we sure this isn't the "what chrisgixer wants for xmas" thread ;D.

Whilst a bigger garage would be useful, I have no desire to move at the moment.  2 doors down would have been nice, but it wasn't possible to sell mine with a load of rubble in the garden, and no garage.

Sadly, I think you may have missed the boat on your ideal home ((almost!!) within your budget). Maybe the option will come up again :y

Ps, TB... where did you get your Clarke 135TE? Can't find one online any cheaper than £287 inc.VAT.
Yeah, 135TE. I paid, according to the invoice in front of me, £199.98 + VAT (£239.98).

May I ask where from young sir  :)
MM on a VAT free invite.

S'pose I should open the box and check its all there, and put it together...

...maybe when this bout of CBA passes ;D

(in my defence, I'm desperately short of space in garage at the moment, so its best left in its box)

£7,995 ladies Rolex Oyster watch, diamond encrusted on a gold frame.  It sits now in a local jewellers and I am tempted....to bloody tempted!! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;)

Oh, Lizzie.......and I had such a high opinion of you. ;) :-* :-* :-*

Rolex watches are crass and brash. They are only suitable for brain dead footballers and their WAGS. Only Rolex can made an £8000 watch look like a £10 watch from the petrol station.

You are talking about the cheap metal cased ones Opti.  The top end ones, starting at about £8,000 just leap out at you with their diamonds and gold, shinning wherever you go, oozing class and sophistication, with their second hand gliding, not stuttering, around it's pretty face. 8) 8) :-* :-* :-* :-* :y

I bought a Rolex once from a reputable jeweller in Manila.  It was $10 and lasted all of 18 months!  :y

For the first time in forty years I purchased a Sekonda watch. Simple elegant design with a brown leather strap. Cost £30.

My last Sekonda was manufactured  in the old USSR, and despite having 17 jewels (whatever that means) was total crap. :(

Understand it, absorb it, get over it, and move on.

Inverter for camping.
Calming CD's for when you're driving.  ::)
Kyrobak

Parachute for the garage door (ok, apologies, bit harsh that one)
Bath shelf for the laptop/tea cup
Weekend break for you both

I was using the same argument with her a few days ago ::)
