We use parcelfarce, but we know our parcels exceed their size limit, so we pray that they ignore that and deliver it anyway.
Great business plan.

Got email from eternal this morning to say there is nothing more they can do to help. >:( So just rang customer service parcel force... gave her the tracking number and she said... we have that tracking number for when the item comes onto our system. and at present that item is still in germany ... anyone ever had this before with eternal ?
-
So eternal use a company called GLS parcel to ship the exhaust across germany to the UK... it then at some point gets passed over to parcel force to be sent here.but meanwhile it sits in a depot ::)

I think I've seen parcelfarce vans with a green coloured logo on with GLS written on it.
-
Just checked, they have a GLS logo on the door, so same company.

The size restriction is more to do with courier vehicles and sorting systems... Proper companies train their staff to know what they can and cannot collect, ie exposed metal, too long etc. Any oversized or awkward items will demand a handling premium.
Basically if the consignment is booked in honestly and accurately, then there's no reason for it not to be collected and delivered. The company might refuse the consignment at point of booking, but once collected, it should be delivered. End of.

Is this eternal or ETS?
I always used ETS and had no issues
-
I have used both without issue, though admittedly not in their xmas busy period when no courier wants anything awkward.

Going by the boxes we've had in the last few days, they're not interested in small light boxes either. Today's looked like it had been driven over by a truck. Fortunately, rocker gaskets are hard to damage that way.
