Yes, Dean, it runs out at midnight tomorrow. Don't worry too much, I forgot mine last April and I didn't get a reminder for two weeks.

Just do it on line as a direct debit. Won't get taken until the 16th, then 1st of subsequent months :y

What he meant, Dean, was you can pay annually by DD, so if you'd have done this, you wouldn't have to have paid till the 16th.

you could always choose the pay monthly option that way you would get immediate cover & nothing would be taken from your bank for about 2wks. at a later date pay in full.

Car Tax ?, ....when did this come out then. :-\ :-[
-
How much extra is it to pay monthly? About a tenner I think. :-\
Not enough that Lord Opti would notice and you have the benefit of not having to wait for a refund if you sell the car. ;)
Reading this thread though it seems like a mindset where some feel its like paying on tick or something, whereas I just see it as paying the tax month to month rather than annually. :y

You don't have to wait for a refund if you pay monthly, you just cancel the payments. For me, that's just a tap on my iPad.
