That was the earlier 3.4 of the 996 model, which I wouldn't touch :y

As I would say to anyone, it's a Beetle with a flash body..... :D :D :D

That's another thing, a Porsche has a sort of Stigma attached to it, however it's always been a car I've wanted.
-
Go for it then ;) (all I know about the RMS/IMS thing is that both Dan & Mark were worried about it when choosing theirs - one now has a 997 and the other a 997.2, the latter seems to break down on a monthly basis! That's what he gets for buying one with the girly PDK box, though, I reckon.)

Why worry, you admit to driving a BMW, up here in the hands of a young man it is driven by a drug dealer, by an older person, a bit of a pra**......... :D :D :D

Midlife Crisis.... Makes me laugh, its just an age where you perhaps have more money now than you did... At least thats what I like to think :y
911's are on my list of wants before I die, so my answer would be if its something you desire plus have the money to do it GO for it Del :) x
-
BTW, having been out in both of the 997s (not as a driver .. yet, I think the new car novelty needs to wear off for them first ;D ) - one on track - I'd absolutely buy one (I know you're looking at a 996 and the 997 is meant to handle better, but really, how bad could the 996 be? ;)).
They're a truly staggering car for something you can drive to a race track, put in a fantastic lap time and then drive home again in..

I personally don't like porkers, just never saw the appeal of them, although I guess that might change if I drove one.
Still VXR8/Monaro for me at some point :)

Yesish......But I'd go for a TVR Griffith instead. :y
