Looks in damn good nick for an M reg :y
thanks its not too bad for the age suffering around rear arches and door edge under rub strips ive filled and painted the drivers side due to this being quite bad yet to do the passenger side at worst it would be  2 replacement doors for the back if i can find them but holding back until the mot is done it drives a1 and just as good as my previous 2001 fiesta so cant see it failing on much apart from 3 tyres and hanbrake shoes and the slight blow on exhaust  it was bought cheap though knowing work was needed braking was a case of crossing your fingers on the way home with it they were long overdue all the alloys had burnt on brake dust and bits of metal fillings burnt on   but its getting there slowly but when i think of what i paid for it  taxed and moted it would of bought me a spares or repair escort fiesta ect so i rekon iam still coming out on top more pics to follow shortly

:DLooking good. We need more members in Yorks/Lincs area.
      But i would say that would'nt i? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

yes could definatly do with someone local to sort my exhaust bit of a scary thought for me to do .. shame as its the only downside to the car apart from body bit scabby in places but when you look at how many m reg and newer cars are in scrappers ,they must have done something right with the omega they are hard to find in local scrappers near me

CAR300 (I assume thats what it is, Vx didn't do a CD300 AFAIK), is a very, very basic cassette player. What it lacks from CCR600 is:

no CD Changer compatibility
no speed sensitive volume

its a blaupunkt cd 300  number on back says 90 383 700 if thats any help it is a single slot cd player

General Discussion Area / insurance!!!!!! grrrr!
« on: 02 July 2007, 06:34:36 »
anybody find there insurance company a pain in the a**e had numerous quotes to change my car
from omega v6 to a ..
cavalier 1.7td save £100 over the year ?
bmw 316i       save £73   "       "     "
mk5 xr3i    wont cover me as iam not over £25
where do they get there prices from how can thery justify knocking off such a small amount to go to a lesser car
and as you can guess i just laughed when they said they wouldnt cover the xr3i because iam not old enough i had the exact same car at 20 and didnt have a prob insuring it  roll on 5 mths to get my 3rd years no claims and i can go with someone else
out of interest does anyone know of a good insurance company for the omega
