TURNS OUT WAS A FAULTY AIR FLOW SENSOR GOT RAC TO DO DIAGNOSTIC..SO FINGERS CROSSED GARGE REPLACING PICK IT BACK UP TOMORROW

hi all
did the pedal test tonight counted 11 flashes then a apause followed by 1 pause then 11 pause then 12 dont know how to work this out in relation to codes any ideas

we have bought a 51 plate 2.2 CD but since we got it home the exhaust emisions light is on permantely .any ideas re this i dont have a code reader and dont want to be ripprd off.
done the pedal trick but didnt really help got the flashing light but showed no codes
drives fine apart from this light dealer getting a call tomorow was supposed to have fixed this problem he said was a faulty MAF and was supposed to have sorted the issue but apparently not..
all advice welcome

hi guys and gals
i am new to he this so be gentle
