yellow warning light

we have bought a 51 plate 2.2 CD but since we got it home the exhaust emisions light is on permantely .any ideas re this i dont have a code reader and dont want to be ripprd off.


done the pedal trick but didnt really help got the flashing light but showed no codes

drives fine apart from this light dealer getting a call tomorow was supposed to have fixed this problem he said was a faulty MAF and was supposed to have sorted the issue but apparently not..
all advice welcome

i had this problem,fuel trim code,turned out to be a faulty MAF which was only 12 months old! you need a code reader :y
