Hi yeah both fans turn freely by hand I've checked the fuses seem ok I chance the fan switch hopefully that will help

Hi all I have had a quick look to see if anyone has had this problem before couldnt see anything but sorry if it has already been posted anyway ----
 
Bought a Vauxhall Omega on a 99 S plate its a 2.0 auto with AC bit of a strange problem well strange to me might be a common problem not upto date with these cars.

First of all no AC on after running for 15 - 20 mins warning light on the temp gauge comes on at over 100 switch the AC on it cools down??? Both fans kick in

Secondly should both fans come on by switching the AC button or just the AC fan?

It's not really a massive problem I'll just drive with the AC on but not good on the old wallet

Temp gauge sits just over 95

Head gasket is fine no real signs of over heating in the past & when I bought it the fan kicked in on its own not doing that now

Checked the fuses all the obvious stuff

Great site highly recommened by my uncle who is also a member just bought a 99 Omega 2.0 CD Auto 84,000 miles but having problems all ready  

So hoping you lot can put some light on the situ for me
