Omega Electrical and Audio Help / no interior lights
« on: 19 September 2009, 14:47:37 »
Hi all . I am having problems whereby the interior dashboard lights will not work . I thought it may have been a faulty switch unit and took a gamble and bought one off EBAY . Unfortunatley this has not worked and I am completely stuck as to what to check next . I have checked the fuses and none have blown .  My headlights etc work fine. Any ideas would be greatly received as the dark nights are drawing in .
Thanks in advance :)

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / cleaning cd changer
« on: 17 November 2007, 15:32:07 »
Hi ,
my cd player keeps jumping even when I put a new cd into it so it looks like the lens might need cleaning.
Is this an easy thing to do.
Any ideas  would be much appreciated.

How easy is it to replace the lock mechanism on the door ?
Would it be worth getting one from a scrap yard ?

Hi all ,
Having a real problem whereby the drivers door keeps opening whilst driving. I have adjusted the catch on the door pillar several times but after a while it keeps opening which is a real pain.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Omega General Help / weird idling
« on: 09 April 2009, 11:46:06 »
hi all,
just been on long journey yesterday 250 motorway miles no problem. Started car this morning and now idles 2000-3000 rpm . flicked throttle and revs go back to norm then it starts idling at 2000 going up to 2500 and then back to 2000. it is as though someone is pressing the throttle and taking the revs up and then down.
Dont understand as yesterday was fine.
Any ideas ??
Thanks
Ian

Hi all,
I am having problems with my 6 cd autochanger in the back of my car. I put discs in and select cd on the radio it then recognises where the cds are located ie 1-6 but then comes up with er-cd (1-6 as applicable) it then goes back to the radio. now when i press the cd button it comes up with the message no disc.
Any ideas ??
Thanks

Omega General Help / Excessive tyre wear
« on: 23 March 2009, 09:59:40 »
Hi All ,
Just had to replace the passenger front tyre due to excessive wear on the inside. Obviously the tracking or something is out.
Is this something I can trust my local kwik fit/ ATS place to put right or do I need to get Vauxhall to sort out.
Please advise.
Thanks
Muskie
