Omega Electrical and Audio Help / elite goodies swap over.

hello....

now, i have an MV6 on a p - plate....
i have just bought a 3.0l elite estate and i am looking to put the toys into my MV6.

parts i want to swap over are.....

xenons
sat nav
sunvisors with vanity mirrors
auto dim rear view mirror
and a few other bits.

will all these fit into my car, as i have been told that ALL omegas will accept most parts from the elite as the loom is already there.

on this information i fitted a set of leathers to my car, and i am having huge problems wth the drivers seat as i dont have the loom for the 3 button memory.

can someone tell me if i cam fit all the parts i want with ease???

hello there...

my miggy dont at present have sat nav fitted into the dash, but as i have just bought a elite estate with the sat nav fitted i am looking to put it into my car.

is theis easy and straight forward to do?
is everything i need for this to work already in my car?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

dont want to seam daft, but it is planely visable....

as the grill in the facelift is part of the bonnet, is this still the location???

need to replace ther temp sensor on the facelift CDX saloon.....

where are therse located???

i know where they are on vectra's but not on the Omega!

can anyone shed some light???

right.....

the car is running like a dream now....

the number 3 lead was arcing out somewhere....

swapped it and all is well now.

right.

today i changed the following.

dis pack
egr valve
sensor on top of the egr
maff sensor

and i also changed the breather pipe from the air intake to the rocker cover.

now this seams to have made it a little better but still running lumpy as a lumpy thing....

any more suggestions???

how do i clean the cam sensor?

Omega General Help / 2000 2.0l CDX saloon missing.

just bought a v reg 2.0l CDX salloon for £300 and it is sweet.... well chuffed, bar the missus has nabbed it (when running right)

now........ it has a miss fire.

changed all 4 plugs today for gen- GM ones, but not cured it...

tried all leads (pulling off and seeing if engine note changed) but to no avail.

got it hooked up to the diagnostics at work today and nothing was found???

when driving it is very "tractory" and has no guts, but when reving it at stand still, s.l.o.w.l.y, it is fine..... but when you give it some beans it stutters.

any ideas?

i have the leather from the facelift sallon in my p reg MV6, the only thing that i can think of is that if you dont have the seat with the 3 button memory your car may not have the loom for it to be added,

i am sure someone will give a vetter answer for you soon.

just bought a 1995 3.0 elite auto saloon in diamond black.

what a fantastic car.

as i am a member of a few other forums to do with my other car i thought i would join up here and get some advice, tips and parts as and when i need them.

here for the lang haul guys and gals so get used to me. lol
