Omega General Help / Fumes inside car?

I've had my car about a month now but in the last few days I;ve started noticing the smele of fumes inside the car and it was particularly bad on my drive home from work this evening.

Deos anyone know what the likely cause of this might be and what I need to check out?

Thanks for the advice folks. I'll test it out in a little while.  

Then I just need to remove the old cassette player and stick in my mp3 CD player.

It is rotary knobs with a button that has  symbol of what looks like a piece of snow which I assume switches the air con on.


Boy I sound dumb don't I.

I've just picked up my car and it's the first Omega I have driven. Sadly the owners manual is missing so I'm having to work out what everything does by using my brain  

I've pretty much worked everything out except the correct way way to operate the Aircon (I've never driven anything with it before).

Can anyone hlep out a dumbass like me or point me in the direction of where I can get a manual?

Great site by the way I've already found the answers to quite a few questions I would otherwise have asked

Well I;ve just rung my local Vauxhall. No mention of me needing to produce any docusments but they won't just sell the key it has to be part of a set with a new cover. £15.90 + VAT

Sorry I should have been clearer.

The breakdown guy got it off in a manner similar to what you suggested but I'd just like to have the proper bit of kit in case something similar happens in the future

Well I had my new car for six hours yesterday and the rear drivers side tyre burst on me   It was damaged in the wall so must have happened before I got it.

Anyway I need to get a release key for the Wheel cover which I don't appear to have. Is it best to just go to  Vauxhall dealer or is there anywhere else I should try first?

My missus really likes the car apart from last night when a tyre burst and the fact that I've had to fork out an extra £69 for a replacement.
