Omega General Help / Replacing Cam sensor
« on: 23 February 2008, 19:30:30 »
I've learn't that I need a new cam sensor, I've looked in the Haynes manual and can't see anything in it for replacing the sensor. Is it difficult to change the part on a 99 plate 2.0 16v? if not how do I change the part or is it worth take the car down to my local garage?

Thanks

Omega General Help / Paper clip test

Ive got a 99 plate 2.0 16v GLS, and its only rev'ing up to 4,500rpm. Took back off speedo and found the emi bulb been taken out. So I've put bulb in and used a paperclip to get the code. Because I'm stupid I can't understand the code. If anyone can help me could I please email a video clip of the code which I've recorded to anyone?

Thanks

Is the ABS-ECU just part of the ECU? How much am I looking at if I send it to BBA Reman?

Thanks for the help

The radio doesn't work because it needs de-coding. So if it is the abs sensors do I need to replace them all?
