ive got a 3.0 elite and my fan belt has cut into the earthstarp a bit the copper wiring showing wot problems will this cause if any

cheers fella already got one .do u know if a faulty engine earth strap would cause the mid in the dashboard to stay on if the ignituion switched off?

i got an elite that has cruise already but the stalk broken have a new one is it just a case or removing damaged one and replacing with the new item?

thx for the replys guys my radio has been removed so no radio in at all but has been like this for about a year only playing up now but will look into whether any of the radio cables r touching anything cheers if anybody thinks of anything else feel free to leave a post

hi there
not sure if anybody can help but i have a 1997 omega 3.0 elite and the problem is that the display for the trip computer stays on after the ignition key is removed and is causing a drain on the battery does anybody know wot this might be?

really seems a bit high might explain why my fan not cutting in then but thought it cut in around 92 degrees was gonna put a manual switch inside the car dont really like it getting much hotter than 90 degrees really thx for ur help

hi there is a solenoid inside the gearbox that selects gears for u that can sometimes get sticky and therefore cause the gears to not engage or when u rev jump into gear hard is about 400 pound to fix sorry mate the soleniod is about 90 quid think there might even be 2 solenoids now i think off it my car had the same problem i just put up with it and make sure the oil is at the right level
