Omega General Help / Omega 2.2 exhaust required
« on: 07 August 2008, 19:22:35 »
Hi guys  My X reg 2.2 Omega needs new centre and rear silencer boxes. £250 fitted cheapest quote today in Edinburgh, after the guy got me some smelling saults he explained it was really the connecting pipes that were finished and not the boxes which made it worse for me. Anyway is there anywhere I can buy them cheaper and get my brother to fit them. I see Autovaux dont sell them. Any info gratefully recieved.  Graeme

Omega General Help / Omega codes P0100 and P1700
« on: 09 March 2008, 17:59:37 »
Hi folks First time on the site which is an excellent source of info.        I have been an Omega owner now for 9 months after selling on my Senator. No probs until last week when I had a visit from my management light which doesnt want to go away. Misfired badly and had Camshaft sensor fitted now drives fine but light is still on. A mate has a Tech 2 machine available and is now showing up code faults P1700 and P0100. Any advice would be gratefully received. My car is a x reg 2001 automatic 2.2
Best regards Mossy
