Thanks for the replies folks - will take back to the garage and get them to sort it out.  I'm of the same opinion that they haven't replaced them with the correct version suitable.

I will let you know how I get on!

Hey Jonathon,

Had it all jacked up this morning and gave it a good look over.  Everything looks fine, only thing I can think of is that the original springs have been replaced with either the wrong spec or the wrong type.  (They were changed during an initial service I had undertaken as one of the springs was cracked!)

Think I'll get the garage to swap them out for heavier duty options!

Heyup folks,

Had my X reg 2.5TD in for some work recently and since I got it back the NS rear mudflap is hitting ground when on uneven road, humps or taking a severe right turn!

The springs were replaced as a pair during the work but I'm just wondering if the independent garage has used the wrong type (unlikely as they have been around for years in our area) or if I should have them replace them with heavier duty types.  

Anyone got any comment before I go round to the garage and give em stink?

Heyup,

I'm selling my 'X' plate 2.5TD GLS right now.  Unfortunately I'm way too far away for you as I'm in Scotland.  20 or so miles south of Glasgow/Edinburgh.

Car is Silver with approx 5months MOT left - of which nothing was required at the last test.  It is used daily and has original 70k on the trip.

Has been serviced regularly since I've had it over the last few years and this year has had new Injectors installed, new Rear shocks/springs, new Rear Exhaust Box (last week!)  Has also had Front/Rear parking aid installed.

Everything works apart from the AC and some of the LED's on the clock.

Did have one of Terry's chips in the ECU but have taken that out to sell seperately.

Very tidy inside with little (if at all) scratches even though it's 9 yrs old now.

Let me know if anyone's interested.
