Freeview is pretty crap in the "tin tent" as the aerial height is pretty low and gets obstructed easily (Digital broadcasts are line-of-sight from the transmittter), I would imagine that a car would be even worse as the aerial is lower and the line-of-sight is continually moving, as well as numerous obstructions .. ie passing lorries/buses etc etc
Quotewoo, 2 into 1. Did assume 2 sections through out...interesting to see if that effects power and economy...
...and also that they would put the 02 bosses in the new section, dont know why i thought that tho.
Power seems up the car seems to pull a lot harder up the revs befor having to change up. MPG seems up to on a hard run back from Cov to Leicester had 30mpg and on the run there at 70 mph had 34MPG.
so seem up by a few MPG .
Has a nice note to it also a kind of deep note to it.
Best bit is not having that light on![]()
Second, as to bridging out the switch altogeher, get a proper switch. you can bridge it out but what happens if the existing brake switch fails: cruise stays engaged just when you do not want it to. It may be a million to one chance but if you bridge it out and it contributes to an accident?
QuoteQuotewhat type of registered person do you need if you want gas work done at home?
dont think thats right, think you can do the work yourself but before useing it has to be checked by a registered person, but i could be wrong on this
my take is .... you can work on gas as long as it's not for commercial/finacial gain!
what type of registered person do you need if you want gas work done at home?
I would replace it with a thermal breaker that takes out the mains input - so doesn't have to switch the full output current. Mount it in good thermal contact with the transformer or rectifier, whichever gets hottest under duress, and it will at least keep it safe. I suspect it's there so that it it's left charging a flat battery that's pulling a lot of current it limits the temperature of the charger.
If the mains input isn't fused I would fuse it or fit a circuit breaker to protect against short-term abuse too.
