bought a nikkai head unit from maplin electronics has sd  mmc mp3 and usb capability 160w over 4 cannals and line out for an amp £69.99 pluged straight in to the loom no steering controls  but i can live with that product code af39fq

the auto box will only change down when veh speed and engine revs permit so no damage will be done i often do this on steep hills for engine brakeing

you just tap them out  from the front use a pin punch  i just used a nail works just as well

if your head gasket had gone you wold have a lot of steam from the exhast and because the system is loosing pressure dosent also mean thats where its being lost at, no water in the oil no oil in the water hmm me thinks thay trying to rip you off

got epc from a shop on ebay came with tis 2000 its a good bit of kit i recomend it cost a fiver near on with postage

cleaned icv and low and behold revs back to normal also cleand drain at pollen filter side  cured the water  prob thanks  for your help back on road again

must be just  the water then cheers ill leave her a few days to dry  i did notice a pool or water wher the pollen filter sits  have to clean the drain out  lol just noticed yeh  the eml dos the codes not the ignition light  im sure me cavy done it by the ign light    thanks silly me

but surley the light should flash the 12 code test begining. it dos nowt accept knock out the eml light when i diconnect it the eml light comes back on this test was done without engine runnig as per instructions the fault i have is engine staying at 2000rpm the only thing i had done prior to this was wash the car lol

ref fault code test i done the paper clip test as per on this site on a 1998 2.0 16v all that happened was my engine management light went out  the ignition warning light stayed on any ideas i did connect to the correct pins as in the pics here
