Hi all, not been on here for a while due to work commitments and having second car. My question is does anyone know who could do a cambelt change around the Romford Essex area as it is overdue by time but not mileage. (V6 2.5)
Perhaps I did not make it clear. Clutch failed electrically last summer O/C coil. Plenty of gas in system so with eco off Rev =600 but no cold air as clutch was just free wheeling. Was thinking then to have the clutch replaced as someone suggested and could do the job but was never done. Then a leak must have developed and revs dropped to 500 as it should with low pressure in system. So over riding the pressure switch will not cease up aircon pump as it is permanently disengaged.
I have no preblem with temperature just wanted to know how to overide the switch that senses gas is too low in aircon system and bring up the revs to 600 again. Clutch of Compressor is fubared anyway and system is low on gas.
As my aircon pump is NBG and will be replaced hopefully next month I would like to over ride the pressure switch to bring the revs up and make use of the aircon fans, Can this be done?
Just had a complete regas, vacuum the full works. we now found the clutch is not operating. 12v is present on plug from the relay. my question is can they be removed or does it mean a complete new compressor?
Hi all, not been on for a while as not having problems. But yesterday.....coolant level low. water running down back of engine but no water can be seen from top end. But noticed today when heater set to high...bloody hot in the car (lol) the loss of water has stopped. HBV or hose or both? Any advice welcome Lou
Changed my battery recently, connected a small battery charger set to trickle charge, clipped small crock clips on terminals and removed- replaced battery without any problems and kept all codes. I can not think of any reasons why this method would cause a problem?
Recently I have notice that when I switch on my heater in my seat I almost get burned in some delicate places within a minute or so. Should this be controlled and if so anything that can be done to stop burning my ar....
