i am also suffering from the no heat syndrome. i have a facelift model w reg.

it has been like it since i baught my omega.  i thought doing  a whole coolant change and flushing the system would do the trick,  but still no joy.  my heaters are set on high and if im lucky i get the slightest mid of mild heat.  but thats about it.  most of the time it bows out cold.
you defo got clogged mattrix take pipes off and flush it both ways, sometimes its a sighn of a weep from oil cooler!!

Hi all
I AM HAVING A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH MY 3.0LTR V6 108,000 MILES WERE I'M LOOSING COOLANT AND THE OIL FILLER IS FULL OF MAYO, DIPSTICK IS CLEAN THOUGH, I CAN'T SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF OIL IN THE COOLANT TANK BUT IT DOES LOOK BROWN STAINED ON SIDE WALLS, WILL THIS BE THE OIL COOLER OR HG, HG WAS ONLY DONE ABOUT 30000 MILES AGO BY DEALER BEFORE I GOT THE CAR AT COST OF 2500 POUNDS, IF IT IS OIL COOLER I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THE DIPSTICK DOES NOT GET MAYO.

it is normal for some mayo due to the plastic filler neck having a content of condensation but the picture above is bad

thats terrible that thought the fitter would have checked the part number were correct before removal...

if both pipes are hot mate it aint the hbv!! heater bypass valve, you dont have a situation were the heat is by passing the matrix if the pipes are hot ::).. air distrubution box is the likly fault :y

Both pipes going in to bulkhead seem to be hot.

I removed one of the vac pipes at the bulkhead yesterday and like I said the air inside the car seemed a little warmer but nothing like it should be. Is this right? Should the air get warmer if I remove a vac pipe?

I can't use the car at the minute because I can't get it demisted enough to drive it safely. >:(

both pipes should be piping hot barely touchable , you get a better judgement by checking the pipes on the inside of the bulk head , they are just above the pedals slightly to the left both are aluminum
