Omega General Help / Re: K-Seal for head gasket?
« on: 18 March 2009, 14:36:24 »
To have an idea if this will work will all depend on pressure, on initial startup and running the pressure from the cylinder will be greater than the cooling system thus the sealer will not enter the split as the engine gets hotter the pressure will build up in the cooling system and hopefully enough for the sealer enter the split just try as you can get K-seal off Ebay for £6 inc postage good luck

1. Changed coil pack

Omega General Help / Re: Omega 3.2 Manual Misfire Problem
« on: 24 February 2009, 22:37:05 »
The loom for 1-3-5 runs back of the engine into the plastic cable run on the ns before heading to the ECU, the lambor sensor can send false into to the ECU and cause the air/fuel mixture to be wrong on one bank, this problem is a nightmare i have the same problem and if i find my cure i will let you know do the same pse.

Omega General Help / Re: oil in expansion tank
« on: 20 February 2009, 21:54:30 »
If oil only in expansion tank and no water in the oil odds are it is the oil cooler in the V, if you take your time and be  careful with the torques when re-assembling you should have a problem two other jobs i would recommend you do at the same time are clean the air breathers and replace the rocker gaskets if they haven't been checked / replaced also check on the spark plugs. Doing it now whilst it is a apart will save time and money in the future.

Omega General Help / Rocker gasket Leak Missfire
« on: 17 February 2009, 13:24:24 »
Help as i still have a problem with my omega 2001 2.6
1. Firstly Oil cooler went changed that
2. Secondly rocket gasket went and took coil pack with it changed that
3. Changed other rocker gasket
The car ran fine for 5 miles then first the emmmision light came and then swopped itself for the engine fault light also rocket torqued down to correct Nm put still seems to leak any ideas.
