1-3-5 misfire
« on: 28 February 2009, 22:24:51 »

car 2001 2.6 omega have had car tech2 read again and coming up with 1-3-5 misfire again this is a on going problem so far have done:
1. Changed coil pack
2. changed plugs
3. changed plenum o'rings

Car seems to be running fine except if being critical would say the tickover is a little uneven and the engine light is on.

Come on pse someone point me in the right direction

at one point in that thread i wondered if swapping the coil pack over and then testing again with the pedal trick would help diagnose the coil pack. But unsure if the coil packs are side specific/handed or not? No help to you now as you have changed it.
