hi dbr i think it was around £110 but well worth doing my car was pulling to left badly when i went in came out drove straight as a dye (even let go off steering wheel at70mph not recomended) and still went straight no wander at all tony2

hi geoffr70 last year tried to get into wim at scarborough girl on reception did not appear to understand what i was asking? said she would get someone to phone me back. after 2days and no call i contacted wim at cheasham ,they told me there was no franchise in scarborough  nearest one was LANGS at BOLTON lancs gave me there phone number and i phoned and booked  went on day booked at time stated they where waiting for me even post lift empty ready for me  told it would take about 1hr so went into town (5mins walk)had meal came back after approx 1 hr 15 mins car all done and road ested i would highly recommend you go there 1st class service which many members have been there and give you the same advice tony2

hi went to change my oil and fiter tonight prior to driving to germany on sunday whe i jacked car up i found atf dripping quite heavy from between bell housing and the front gearbox sump :-[ it appears to come from the top of box and running down the side any ideas please but it looks like germanys out the window miggy is a 2.6 tony

when the road is wet or icy ie winter or you have to apply brakes extra hard and the front wheels try to lock up this is when the abs kicks in and the electronics side off the braking system applies your brakes on and off in a rapid motion causing like a grinding noise but if brakes are applied normal and you get grinding check your brake pads pads are worn down to metal :-X

that is the abs working properly does make like grinding noise as brakes go on and off rapi :yadly

lost my last brother today age 70yrs i only had him to a vintage car show on sunday  and he had a very good day RIP HOWARD allways rememberd in my heart  your brother TONY :'(

update cleared fault code today checked several times during the day still clear ie no faults on any system. are there any OOF mechs over in my area(durham)in the near future willing to do the atf change cheers tony2

evening all done pedal code test on mig tonight code 1700 came up is this telling me that auto transmission oil is due for change mig has covered 87000 cheers tony2. last test came back no fault codes that was about 4 weeks ago
