Hi All

Thanks for all your help :y

I have been offered £850 less £112.50 for keeping the car. It was valued at £1000 and they took £150 off for pre-accident damage (rust on rear wheel arch) Its now a category C.

I would like to ask what would be the best way of maxamising the return on the car the local scrap yards have come back with £110-150 but I feel that as it has a longlife exhaust and a manual box would it realise more advertised.

If somebody could steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated as the more have back the more I can spend on my next Mig ;D

Hi all

Just after some advice from the wise as I have been rear ended today and I am confident it’s a write off. It is now 50mm lower at the back and 70mm shorter than when i set off for work this morning.http://images.omegaowners.com/forum/smf2000/Smileys/oofstd/cry.gif

My car was a 1999 (V) 3.0l MV6 in black and obviously not worth much, just wanted to know if anybody had previous experience of claiming on insurance with a low value car or any pit falls to watch out for.

Thanks in advance
Andy

Thanks guys for getting back to me.

GmasterT

Great as long as you feel you wont suffer from the deal as in selling 5 over 4 and we can agree a price and collection.

Sam

Cant really afford a set of 5 without selling my Elite wheels first. If but if at the end of this thread and I still have a set of three and it does not break any forum rules let me know.

Hi

Would really appreciate if this could be moved :)

Has anyone got an odd one of the above kicking around as i have a set of three at the moment. Anything considered as long as it is round. I have tried previouslyto find a set  but ended up buying a set of Elite wheels which are nice but I prefer the Twin spoke.

Thanks for looking

Hi

Would really appreciate if this could be moved :)

This is for my sons car which will be going for scrap when the MOT runs out so dont wish to spend out on a new one if possible also not 100% this is the problem. The part number is 90528640 and its for a 2000 plate 2.0 CDX manual, chassis No t onwards (4 wire R Bl Y Wh). If anyone could help it would cheer him up no end.

Thanks for looking

Andy

Thanks Rob

Possible to use a resistor instead of solenoid to fool the ecu.

We had to remove a pipe with two small connections to the manifold so that would be the SAI.

Manifold is not here at the moment so cannot check PN but asked this qustion before and got this answer
