I've got a 2001MY 2.2 exhaust manifold here, not sure if it's the same though.  Don't suppose you have a part number?   :-\

Does 2l have SAI on, if so, likely that plumbs into manifold, and doubt 2.2 has that...

We had to remove a pipe with two small connections to the manifold so that would be the SAI.

Manifold is not here at the moment so cannot check PN but asked this qustion before and got this answer

If fitting a 2.2 manifold, strip out all the SAI system but leave the solenoid valve with it`s electrical connection in place.

Thanks Rob

Possible to use a resistor instead of solenoid to fool the ecu.
