Omega General Help / Engine Trouble
« on: 10 June 2011, 16:54:35 »
Evening all
Just hoping someone will be able to advise me.
The car starts and drives no problem, then when you stop and try starting her she just keeps turning over and over and over.  I am having to push her and bump her off in 2nd.
this is happening more and more frequent now.
Anyone any idea's the problem behind this.
Cheers
Jason

« on: 22 April 2011, 17:25:27 »
Evening all
Looking for a bit of help.
Just de-badging the car and got it down to shadowy felty characters.
I have tried soapy water and t-cut but neither will shift it.
Any ideas??

Omega General Help / Re: Bad touch up job

Cheers guys
Will try the paper and get it sorted.
This guy must have been thinking he was painting an outside wall for the mess he has made of it.

Omega General Help / Bad touch up job
« on: 17 April 2011, 22:39:10 »
Evening peeps
Just wondering if anyone can suggest a product or way of getting a bad touch up paint job off.
Just purchased an MV6 estate and the driver rear panel looks like a bird has shat on it, it is that badder job.  Wouldn't mind but the scratch itself would be nearly missed if not looking.
Cheers
Jason

Omega General Help / Facelift Stereo Help
« on: 28 July 2009, 18:21:36 »
Evening all
I was hoping that someone here may be able to help me.
I have recently bought a facelift 2000 W Reg 3.0 MV6 Omega and the stereo is missing, I know it needs a double din unit but was wondering which one is best to use.  I contacted the local Vaux garage and they said that I needed a CDR2005 at £229+VAT. I have seen the CD30's but told these will not work in the omega :(
I was hoping for something a little better possibly with Ipod facility?? :)
Failing that, I heard about the model with the telephone sim card, would that fit? is it any trouble to fit?
I am not picking the car up until next Monday when off work but would like to have something ready to whack in her so not driving in silence.
Any help would be very much appreciated  :y
All the best
Jason  :)

Newbie Welcome Area / Newbie looking for advice.
« on: 27 July 2009, 16:14:29 »
Afternoon All
Just purchased an Omega MV6 and thought it would be nice to converse with other owners  :)
From Wick, way up north, about 20 miles south of John O'Groats.
I am also after advice whilst here. :P
The double din stereo is missing from the car and not sure which model will fit or to get.  Any idea's, Radio and CD a must, would like to be able to attach an Ipod but not essential and also be able to use steering controls.
Also need a new front black leather armrest as the one in is a bit tatty.
Many thanks for reading this and hope to chat again soon.
Jason.
