Hi all as well as my headlight problems see “How to adjust? Headlight beam pointing too low?” I have a new problem. Previously on general help page.
My old compressor went kaput on the clutch mech and after it was disabled we found that if you accidently pressed the switch it blew the fuse for the air con and blowers? As part of this restoration work I have now replaced the compressor and clutch and had it all pressure checked and re-gassed but when you try to activate the air con the fuse still blows? We have checked all relays we can find but the book of lies and car manual does not give all locations or info come to that. Can anyone advise further HELP I want to get back on the road Embarrassed

Hi again these are all new lights and as far as I can tell all locations are solid an engaged its just the actuator at the bottom pull the beam too low. I do not know how to post an image to this site so if anyone can guide mre how this is done I will try.

I am not 100% but when switching on lights the beam re-adjusts to a position and also have been informed early Omegas had them fitted on this level of build.

Hello I am new to this site and would be grateful for any advice / help on headlight adjustment to self levelling lights?
And if a Tech 2 would allow adjustment or only identify a fault?
I have posted this on the general help but to no avail, other than what has allready been checked but thanks to the contributors

My headlight beams point too low and I cannot get them to rise. I have removed one of the actuators and looked inside there is an awful lot of kit in there to just raise and lower the lights all adjuster sockets are located properly and the manual adjustment will not raise the beam enough. PLease help! :-[

Thanks again to all contributors
Yes the sockets are all correctly engaged.
I do not know if this problem existed from installation as they were originally installed at the beginning of last year.  I had not driven the car at night until winter when I was travelling early morning and night. The car then got spit roasted at a roundabout on the way home one Friday and is being restored. So I am trying to sort all these problems out prior to getting back on the road.

Hi Al thanks for your continued interest in this.
Yes all adjusters do their job but do not raise the beams high enough. Not sure if this was apparent before the new lights were fitted as the old ones had weathered lenses causing the beams to be scattered and a poor pattern hense the new headlights.

Thankyou Al for your interest.
Yes the adjusters do what they are supposed to do but not enough height. I am not sure if the were always like this as the reason for replacement was that there was no pattern due to the old lense surface was crazed scattering the beam. Thanks again for your suggestions. :(

Hello agian Al
Yes all mountings have been checked for location and ok. It just seems that the beam has gone out of alignment. There is plenty of light from the lenses but not high enough to use for driving. I do not know if there is any different adaptors available to attach the sockets to the actuators as the headlamps are not the original ones as the had ti be replaced for an mot. I am desparate to get this solved as with the nights drawing in this makes it imposible to drive as is.

Hi Al Thanks for the interest as this is puzzling me. Yes I have checked that the actuators are connected to the light assy. Do you know if there is any way I can adjust them electronically?

Yes it does have a three position setting but this is at zero. If I try any of the other setting I might as well use a candle its that bad!!! :-[

Hi al brown
These screws have been adjusted to their maximum. What I need to be able to do is adjust the actuators to the self leveling as they are pointing too low?
