Selsey means check the LIVE feed WIRE. Its the red or yellow one, on new headunits, these are swappable, as manafactures vary. I had to do the same with my Alpine unit, and switch them

do the red and yellow both have to be live

Omega General Help / Re: Steeringwheel sticking
« on: 07 October 2010, 21:46:10 »
It sticks in the same place, when it lets go you can hear and feel like a clicking sound from the wheel, it only really happens when i'm pulling out from parked cars on my street in the morning, touch wood it never happens on the main roads to cause any cause for concern

Its basicley what it says in the title

At slow speed, the steering kind of stops working, it sticks in the same place for about 5 seconds, then kicks back into action if you keep the preasure on it

Anyone with any info would be great

Cheers Stevie

Omega General Help / Re: brake pads
« on: 11 March 2010, 22:34:09 »
Thanks, The reason i bought the brake pads was because the front right brakes were squeeking when braking. I took the left wheel off tonight and had a look at the pads but they were ok with plenty of meat left on them, it got too dark to check the other side (should have done that first). Can brake pads wear more on one side than the other.
