as above ive not bought it as it came to light after the auction that he hadnt got proof of ownership. found a few more now anyway

apparantly its had a rebuild? so I would presume so.
im not going to buy it anyway, i just hpi'd it and the last owner change was 2005, I asked about this and he has no proof of ownership (v5) as I have close family in the police I couldnt do a deal without it, they would rip me a new arsehole.

its worth mentioning if you buy a set from most places in the uk they will not be legal to use on uk roads! "off road use only" most will pass an mot but if you were to be involved in an accident and your insurance company were to see that these were fitted they may deem your insurance void. harsh but true!

this used to happen on my stripped out impreza occasionaly, try pouring boiling water over the latch, just remember to spray some oil "duck oil is bet imho" on after.
