any advice offered here would be great,
after cleaning the pick up strainer in sump started her up not good to much damage done bottom end knocking and top ticking away.............
so im thinking of removing lump and replacing one from johnsons vauxhall spares n salvage (anyone heard of these ppl and have you used them wat they like?) which the fella tells me its only done 55k and giving 3 mths warrenty
do i need to change ecu or even reprogramme?
any advice links would be helpfull thanks guys

it was the head gasket they replace seals aswell as oil filter oil headbolts thermstat

no they done the job got the car back after 100 miles or so oil light came on while i was on mway doing 80 stopped straight away n engines top end clattering away.
got her towed home n on the ramp this morning n scratched my head....

isnt the subframe in way off the sump?
just had the gasket done,its just clicked to me that its got to be the stainer as im sure garage used engine flush.................

hi everyone im qute new here dont relly have much to say but ive got a nice 2.2 auto in silver n have had it for a while
im sure the oil pump has packed up can anyone help me i locating it,done some reasearch n ive been told that its in the oil sump and the engine needs to be lifted subframe n timing belt to come off then sump n then oil pump is this right can anyone help??

hi can any one help in me finding out what the part number is on autobox on omega 02 2.2 ive tried dealers and vx headoffice but ive had no luck,and also can anyone help me in pointing me in right direction ie does the box need to have the same ident as mine?

hello everyone i just would like to start by congratulating everyone who has anything to do with this forum,ive read quite a few posts and find alot of it very intresting.
I drive a 02  2.2 auto on lpg at the mo its my 3rd omega
lov em and hate them!
