plot thickens, opened the fuse box, sunroof fuse had blown changed it still no sunroof movement, the seat is on the same fuse as other things that are still working??  beginning to go off the omega.. Wish i had left the radio alone now..

Kind of sorted my radio out but now my sunroof and heated seats are not working? are they on the same fuse???

I have sound... .... but god not the most simple job ever.. but it works, only thing now the sunroofs not working 

Im learning the omega ownership is whats the word........................................... an experience.!

is that plastic trim a bit hard to get off with the bonnet pull right by it??? cant seem to move it

  now i sound daft but where is the kickplate??? took me an age to find the bar behind the facia panel to get that out.. im a bit of a miggy novice

Well taken most of the dash out today to get some access, did the Lights in my heater controls (spares from changing the ones in my mrs car) Looked all around the wires I cant see anything dodgy, speakers in the boot have no markings on them certainly not BOSE anyhow. wired the radio direct to the back speaker with a long length of wire and hurraahh sound, so speaker (well that one) seems fine.

Put the speaker output wires from the stereo direct into the connector in the car not a wisper, split a wire behind the connector and tried again (thinking it maybe connector) again nothing!

Car has 3 ISO type connectors aftermarket stereo on has 2?? also looking at the connectors in the car the wires are not coloured the same as the ones on the aftermarket stereo wiring???

Looked in the fuse box and in the cars manual, says fuse 10 is blank in the manual mine has a fuse in remove this stereo goes off? put fuse back in stereo comes back on no sound but powers on and off....

fuse 6 shows picture of a speaker on the fusebox door?? but that fuse is ok???

Last owner had a sony stereo in it reports no problem when he removed the stereo?

So am i going mad? Or do i just drive in silence???
