Think so, I had an issue with my heated seat when I bought it and when the fuse blew so did a couple of other things.

Not sure if it was fuse No17

(Jimbob, is there any chance of a fuse and relay layout for the cars in the guides sections, maybe info on capaciries, wheels/tyres siazes and pressures etc - Just a thought as I reckon a lot of members might find it helpfull)

Had a similar problem with a dodgy radio set up, changed for a SONY MP3 CD, but had most electrical items go, and the fuse hadn't gone!
I disconnected the battery earth, pressed footbrake to drain remaining power, reconnected battery.
Heated seats worked OK after that?
On sunroof, I found that you had to press and hold the rotary switch for about 5-7 secs and it worked manually in all positions, after that worked on auto and been fine since  :)
All other items started working then, e.g. Cruise, Computer, Info Display Panel, (inc. smaller icons in the Centre) e.g. dolby, cassette, cd) Also auto up and down on all windows stopped, also OK... weird  :o
May not work - but worth a try, but remember that after 10 secs the alarm may go off and you will lose any stored Radio stations

what remaining power from where? Pressing the brake has just released what ever vacuum you had.  ;)
