sounds like a lot of messing with wiring. different wiper stalk. different mirror and base and different windscreen.
could be costly and a lot of work.
think i will stick with moving the stalk with my hand lol.

probably just cause mine is early facelift 2000 w then. stalk only has option for int. std and fast. thanks for the reply.

hi all. i have seen that a lot of people say the facelift elite version should have rain sensing wipers.
i have a 2.5 facelift elite but it does not have this option. everything else is there including working rear blind but no rain sensing wipers.
would anyone have an idea why this is. ie only fitted to 2.6 3.2 etc
or should it be there and someone has removed to repair etc.

thanks jimbob. i will need to have a look at it then as there is very little bass or volume coming from it. the front speakers have more depth.

got the standard bose in my elite too. sounds as good as the one i listened to in an M3 beemer. Maybe yours has a fault or speakers / amp getting tired.
last car i had i ran a 2ohm stable amp using line level input to uprated speakers. and sounded stunning. just bypassed the bose amp.
might be an idea as most modern amps can run 2ohms.  8-)

good news replaced the coil pack and car defo runs a lot better. was the oval one. thanks for the advice all.
scared the bits out of me when the engine management light came on then remembered i still hadn't replaced the solenoid valve on the rear ram and left the plug off lol.

i love the logic of car makers. make it so hard to get to stuff that you have to take to stealers and pay lots o money.
will wait till a good day as no garage and borrow brother in laws car while mig is off road.
is mg zs so nearly as much fun lol.

hi all was wondering if there is any way of telling which coil pack is fitted without the trouble of removing it from the car.
i notice that there are two different plugs one square and one ovalish.
prob is the car is in constant use and cant afford to have it off the road long enough to take coil off and then send for one.
any ideas.  :question

you can get new bosch one on flebay between 80 and 95 or pattern around 40ish.
dont know how good pattern one is.
euro car parts also do them.

just a quick query guys and gals. would changing the width of tyre on my elite from 225 45 17 w to 235 45 17 w make an detromental problems or cause handling issues.
