ive taken cars for a vic before that haven't been repaired and a couple of times they checked them on the back of the truck.so ive heard there stopping doing them soon.ive insured cat c,d cars without a vic before.

one out of a 535 or 735 0f arond a similer year should be the same.i think from 82 up to around 1990.anything with the 3.5 single cam 6 should be the same i think even the 3 litre should be the same.used to play with loads of old bmws.paul

got to put a new starter in an 06 astra 1.3 cdti.ive found the bottom bolt ok but cant find the top one.it dont go through from the starter side as can just about get your hand in there and feel around and cant feel a bolt there.on the gearbox side theres a hole in the bell houseing but cant see anything in there and cant see a bolt anywhere else.not that you can see much anyway theres so much rammed in there.thanks paul :y

want to fit a dvd tv tuner in my car,my mates got a 7 sierries bmw.what would it take to fit into my elite?.i used to have a head unit with a pop out screen but every time you used it had to put gear selector in 1st.also want to fit rear screens.any ideas?.paul :)

on that you should have 225,55,16 and they are a pain to get hold of now as not many cars use that size any more.be cheeper to look on ebay for a set of 4 wheels

id take the left caliper off the car,and blow the piston out with an airline and clean the piston up and refit it with some copper slip round it.to me it seems as youve got low efort on that side that its siezed up a bit.paul

i had a prob with my pass door the outhr week.1 of my stupid kids tryed to open the door while i was unlocking it with the fob and it jammed uo.when pressing the fob the locking pin was jumping up and down but wouldnt open.in the end had the drivers door open and pressed the fob to lock and unlock it half a dossen times and it unlocked in the end.so try haveing the outher doors open and lock and unlock it with the fob and see if it unlocks.it worked for me so worth a try.paul
