1 years mot
74,500 miles i am 3rd owner, prev owner was my girlfriends parents and they had it since 6 months old. Reluctant to sell but is rarley used and buying a house means its got to go.
i have replaced since i got car:
cam seals (original vauxhall )
geal oil
gear selector switch
exhaust replaced from cat back new front discs and pads, read discs, pads and shoes, also had to replace rear brake backing plates
steering idler and track rod ends and tracking done.
serviced (oil, oil+air+fuel filters) Drive belt, pollen filter, new plugs
its the elite, has full heated leather seats, 6 disc changer, climate control, cruise control etc..... all reciepts for work done since i have had the car and some prev history.
the central locking doesnt work but have a new drivers side module, just not had the time to replace it, alarm still works.
paintwork is in good condition for the age of the car but not perfect, only rust is on the bottom of the rear passenger door.

Also Being an older car it doesnt fall into the £460 a year road tax cost, it costs *£215* to tax for the year £50 deposit required for car to be mot'd for 1 year

Please dont email me making an offer, the advert doesnt say ono, the car has had more £ then the for sale price spent on it in the last year. If you are serious about being interested in the car call me and arrange to come and view it.

Omega General Help / heated seats blow fuse, not switch ? im puzzled
« on: 13 November 2011, 04:52:21 »
so last week had drivers heated seat on and it popped the fuse, heaters, heater panel lights, heated seat stoped, and steering got heavy.
so i replaced the fuse and everything worked again except the drivers heated seat, when i pushed the switch in and held it in it would heat up, as soon as i let my finger of the switch it stopped working, so i wedged in a piece of cardboard to keep it switched on and once again it popped the fuse after about 10 mins,
this time when i replaced the fuse it the switch wouldnt work atall (everything else did), so i thought it was the switch that was faulty,
elite pete kindly sent me a new switch, put it in today and it worked again, had it on for 10 mins and it popped the fuse again, the bulb that lights up to show the heated seat is switched on wasnt working, but i can tell it isnt working as when it was working and switching the seat on the dash lights slightly dim when (ignition on engine off)
so my question is i have probanly got 2 duff switches now and need another one, but what is causing them to fail and the fuse to pop ?

only other thing you cold do is try end modify urr rotten ones, i considered welding on one of the washer slips u get on nocas and corsas for the pin, but mine were far to gonee, had to get new ones from vauxhall no-where else did them

Omega General Help / Re: how to remove heated seat switch ?
« on: 12 November 2011, 15:51:46 »
do the knives slip in to the top end bottom or the sides of the switch, have seen a pic of ones on ebay and it looked like the clips holding it  in were top and bottom ?
