I might leave this as one of the last issues to resolve.
Cambelt change, service and paint touch up will have to come first 

Then every other job that you hadn't planned for inbetween

passenger side works, drivers side has not been working since I've had the car.
The light comes on when you turn the dial on the center console but seat never warms up.
Any ideas?

I've been driving it round for 3 weeks nearly and there is no signs of mayo on the oil cap or dipstick.
There are signs of oil leaking out of the engine somewhere?
Could be the rocker cover gasket causing that though if there's oil on top of the plugs.

OK thanks for your advice, I will check these signs and see if I get any?
My friend has an experienced mechanic (30yrs +) who I'm hoping can have a look this weekend.
The chap that fiited it said that oil was in water when he took the water when he took the water pump off, it was evident in the puddle on the floor?

Hi, guys.
I had the cambelt and waterpump changed on my Omega a couple of weeks ago.
The mechanic (young kid who has not long left college)  fitted them said there was oil in the water when he changed the water pump?
He told me to get rid of the car as the head gasket was going.
I have a friend who has mechanical experience and he said there was no signs of head gasket failure?
I noticed there is oil on 3 of the sparkplugs when I took the coil pack off - don't know if this is related?
Any ideas as I really don't have a clue about mechanics?

 Don't know if I have got this right? I have 2 other codes 1329 & 1405 but these are on the list. 0339 I cant find? I got these codes using the pedal trick in my 2.2.

Vauxhall sell a repair kit that is remarkably effective (so long as the hinge hasn't been ripped off the metal yet. It costs pence.

Do a search on the forum in maintenance guides. I would for you but my highspeed Internet has gone third world on me.

That's exactly whats happenend to my drivers door

You mean it's been locked since you got the car? Probably the motor goosed. To open it, you can access the locking bolt/pin from inside the boot/rear off side wing. 

It never locks.
Might be something stupid? I'll check behind the trim.

All parts are OEM they arrived today, very suprised as I ordered them at 15:00 ish yesterday.

My friend who is fitting them owes me a few favours as I've helped him out in the past

My car has now just done over 80000 miles so is due (probably overdue!) it's cambelt change. I have a mate that should be able to do the job for me.
For the cambelt kit and the water pump on ebay it's approx. £130 with delivery.Anybody know a cheap supplier as my local parts supplier can't beat this price?

I have purchased the kit and the water pump, with delivery cost approx £95. Not bad at all 
My friend has all the kit to do the job and is charging me next to nothing.
