Omega General Help / No ignition????????

I have a facelift 2.5 Estate with an intermitant fault. I thought at first it was a hot start problem but now also happens when cold.
Get in, as you do, turn key dash lights only no turnover.
Remove key repeat process dash lights only no turnover etc etc. This can happen four or five times until it fires as if nothing has happened and it will be OK for a few days.
Any ideas?

Thanks for all the hello's.
Monza is cool 8-)but not good as a daily driver, way to noticeable anonimity is key to my trade. The Omega fits the bill quite nicely tho

Just thought I'd say a quick hello. Currently drive a facelift 2.5 GLS Estate but also have a Senator 24v manual and an Opel Monza GSE 24v
