School boy error....I isolated the battery last night, and of course the car won't let me back in this morning. I have tried the usual thing of trying to unlock with the  key, and that's a no. I have the front grill removed as I'm prepping the bonnet for a repaint, and have tried to fiddle around to get the bonnet released...but it'll have to released from inside the locked car. I'm at a bit of a loss as to solve this one. >:(

....
which is why they weren't sold here. Instead, you could buy a mk3 Capri, mk5 Cortina - and I believe an early Sierra, but I've never seen one - with a 1300 crossflow, although virtually nobody did. ....

the 1300 Sierra was a Pinto .....  :y  Never seen one though  ;)

I do remember that from the time but Wiki confirms it  :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Sierra

Pretty sure I had a colleague with a 1.3 pinto in a Sierra. Not sure I have ever seen a crossflow in one. Later small engined variants got the CVH.
The facelift 1.6 and 1.8 were CVH iirc.

Dad had a B reg 1.6 Emax powered one. Whilst it didn't set the world on fire, it could cruise at 80. Did nearly 3,000 miles in it on L plates one summer and passed my test in it.

Parcelforce have mildly pissed me off. Parcel 1 of 3 and 3 of 3 have been delivered but parcel 2 of 3 has gone to another depot.  ::)   Of course, as it’s a Bank Holiday I won’t see the missing parcel until at least Tuesday. Hey ho, worse things happen in life.  :)

Could be worse! Parcel 2 shown as “ delivered” in order to hit delivery targets! That is what happens to us here. Mrs V complained to Amazon and they refunded the money and gave her a ten pound voucher. She re ordered the same item and it arrived. Then about four weeks later the first one turned up…….

I had a mk3 transit with the 2.0 city spec engine, would hardly pull 5th empty. Soon sorted that with a twin plenum 2.8 V6, now that towed well!

Sorry to hear that.

Eighteen months since we had to put our dog down. Very tough time.
