LOL at this thread, the 5 pots in the volvos are the ones to go for IME unless its an RS, having said that though, i left an RS on a dual carriageway in the t5 even when it was standard ;)

You leave most things standing in a T5, friend has an ex-plod motorway patrol 850 T5 estate (with 12, yes 12, fuse boxes!!), and leaves me for dust often......even from 90 70mph  :(

And yes, that was also before he "got involved"...... I shudder to think what it'll do now it's over 380bhp

Does a third hand come out of the dashboard and brace the steering wheel when you floor it?


TS is not that bad on a ST. Infact I had a Mountune upgrade on mine and it still handled pretty well unless the road surface was very poor. Then it was a handful.

lol theres a man with an 850 with atleast 400bhp, i had a facelift s60 t5, still have - in bits mind and that was 350bhp with just a map :P

he tried to take the polestar c30 out at castle combe but they said it took them 4 years to build and the bloke with the 400bhp 850-it took him 12 years to build and is his daily driver- hes currently fitting the 6 speed box from my t5 lol!!!

Must admit, i like what the police do to the 850, if i could find one & put a proper hi spec interior back in it i probably would  8)

the 2.4 s60 t5 is a better engine, R owners swap the 2.5 engine "similar" to the focus 2.5 for the t5 lump ;)
