It's well known on here that pattern sensors are shite. Maf code is common with crank sensor fault.

Fit a GM genuine sensor from a dealer. Used no good either as they can't be removed from the oil pipes without damage.

Must be new, genuine, vx, from a dealer.

But you may well be asked which plug shape the car has. They can't tell from the system so take the pattern one with you. It's got to come off anyway.

Fit genuine Vx crank sensor mate - pattern are at best krap ;)

You guys are very cool! :-) Fitted a genuine part and it worked just as you said it would. Thank you all for very informative advice. :) ;D 8)
