Don't know if it's owt to do with the thread .. but for several weeks the smiley "lips sealed" has been weird on my account ... it started as a sort of space invaders thing .. and now is always the "picture missing" little rectangle  thingie .... this is when ever it is used .. by me, others or on the row of icons  on the "post repy" page ..

Not a big deal .. but .......   

Phone? PC? What type?

PC ... , Tower, Win 7,  Chrome ... they are all "normal" in Firefox and IE

Hmmm, I refuse to install Chrome on any of my PCs. I prefer a browser with less bugs than a Libyan coffee shop.

Again, does cache clearing solve it, even temporarily?

Now I've found how to clear the cache in Chrome ....  it seems to have worked !!!  Don't know if it'll last .. but I'l let you know !!

On a second look it's a chipmunk.    Curiously, are all of these emoticons from the OOF reply page and preloaded avatars, as when my phone displays a weirdness, it has swapped emoticons that are readily available on OOF. 

For example, in my reply to the Oxford Kassam thread I used 'roll eyes' but when I viewed it today it is 'tongue poking out'.
The border around the OOF page turns into Wacko avatar as shown earlier in this thread and the occasional Chipmunk turns up randomly.  (that was a laughing smiley in case it changes)
This Chipmunk and Wacko are people's avatars, well I think they are as I can no longer tell what is real and what is dodgy.  (that was a laughing smiley in case it changes)
Really looking forward to seeing Batman but he's a no-show so far.
I have cleared cache many times but the issue returns. This is an observation, not a complaint, as it really isn't that big a deal.

Now then, where's my methodone, in case I'm hallucinating.
