Nope. Don't think so. Tbh this started when all that got deleted. Device is bog standard afaik. :-\

yep, tried that several times. It's ok to start with, but always leaks back in.

iPad never had the issue.
IPhone is the problem. Iirc it started when using the phone as a modem via personal hotspot. May have been coincidence.

Shows its miscaching stuff at the device level ;)

Not much we can do server end, other than ask browsers not to cache, but that would be daft (we allow browsers to cache our 'static' content (images/icons/css/javascript etc) and disallow caching of dynamic content (text of posts etc)). Of course, our servers request this browser action, ultimately its still down to the browser if it obeys our requests...

There is another issue that prevails while we're here.

The keyboard keeps closing. As it did on my n900 with disastrous effects if just typed out a reply, which gets lost.
At least the the iPhone doesnt loose the content though.

Can happen if you hit Done. I seem to do this frequently, bloody onscreen keyboards.  Usually comes back if you click in 'another' box (eg, title), then back in main reply box.

The server/software doesn't send requests to open/close keyboards - its entirely unaware of such a thing.

Yep, same here.  :y Using standard OOF emoticons. It was Tigger the other day but now I've got Wacko/Minnie or whoever it is and the occasional Beaver.  ;D Sometimes I have to tap 'preview' first otherwise I get no emoticons on display during a reply to a post. I find tapping preview first helps in most cases.  :y

Really is in midflow and random. As you say I thought it was hitting the wrong button, so was Carefull, and defo cought it in the act. It's want me.

But fully appreciate your comments, re software. Not accusing the forum, except jokingly. ;)

It happens to me. And when keyboard is reopened, it capitalises first letter. I assumed it was my phone thinking I hit Done (the digitiser isn't brilliant on mine, its seen some action ::)).  If its not that, its a glitch in Safari/iPhone...  ...and you're running the latest available...

Don't know if it's owt to do with the thread .. but for several weeks the smiley "lips sealed" has been weird on my account ... it started as a sort of space invaders thing .. and now is always the "picture missing" little rectangle  thingie .... this is when ever it is used .. by me, others or on the row of icons  on the "post repy" page ..

Not a big deal .. but .......   :)

Phone? PC? What type?

PC ... :), Tower, Win 7,  Chrome ... they are all "normal" in Firefox and IE :)
