My connections were butchered when I got the car and had some sort of red gas (caravan lpg) pipe had been fitted. Needless to say the petrol rotted the pipe and eventually started leaking. I have replaced this with proper rubber fuel pipe and touch wood (not Kevin) have had no further problems. (Famous last words ;D)

yeah and wouldn't it be easier, in terms of draining, to go for the pipe to the fuel tank?  :y

i hate those clips. i'm considering changing for a jubilee set up anyway. 2 mins. jobdone. and no special pliers  ::)

The special pliers are only a couple of quid and it makes the job so easy :y
