Don't know if this may help some LPG users. I found this site...

http://www.lpgmap.co.uk/download.php

It has downloads to add LPG stations to your satnav as points of interest. I will certainly find it useful, hope it helps some of you  :y

I used to use this all the time when I had the Rangey... Be careful though... I found it very outdated in places, particularly the West Country.
Was it outdated as in, they no longer do LPG or outdated as in, not all stations are listed. The later I can cope with  :D

Outdated, as in, service station no longer existed!!!  :o :o :o

I did find that it was generally quite good, just have to be cautious as some of the sites have either closed or just scrapped LPG. The other thing is that the locations can sometimes be a little off. It's a great thing to have as a back up mind.

Thanks for that info, I shall bear it in mind. It will be rarely used  but just as a back up if I find myself in the back of beyond.  :y

well i've decided that regardless of spending a small fortune converting to LPG, my car will be up for sale before i have to spend £1million in road tax for 2010

i'll be getting.................. wait for it................. an astra!

Sensible fellow!  ;D
Will you fit in one ok Danny?
I had one on hire last week and it was very uncomfortable, found the 1.4 Fiesta I got a few days later to be much better to get comfy in.
Thought the Astra was a right shed tbh.

Danny would fit in ok, don't know about you yer fat b*stard ;D
Seats don't go back far enough you senile old git and as Danny's taller than me I thought he would have problems.
Anyway does yours feel like the steering idlers gone when your driving it too?

Senile? Moi?  ;D

Mine is fine John but, then again, it's not a hire car, so hasn't been abused. It will never replace my omega (or alfa) of course, but as I get more used to it I'm quite pleased.
One thing I certainly dont miss is the repair bills :-X

I am debating LPGing my car.  Being in the army in Germany has its advantages such as cheap petrol (les than half UK prices) but limited to 210 lt per month.

Now in 2 years I may get posted to UK or back to Germany, not sure yet.

Also the car is quite old, '96 cdx 2.5 just shy of 150k.  I was thinking about replacing it with an elite at some point but I havent even started on that even SWMBO was onboard with that idea as long as she gets her new beamer.

Is it worth doing the mig? or should I trade her in for a younger model so to speak before undertaking it?
