I like a bit of salt but I don't go mad except tomatoes and pickled red cabbage which I cover in salt :exclamation

Did you know that 99.9% of the atoms we are made of are purely empty space, so that each of us equal just a grain of salt if melted down to actual material worth....therefore all the 60 billion people of the world could fit into an apple!

That gives the salt subject a new angle!! ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

If salt is so bad .. why do all mammals deliberately consume it ?? and why are "salt licks" provided for commercially controlled animals who can't roam ??

Salt is also used after strenuous exercise to replace that lost in sweat, and for many years was provided, in tablet form, for folks working in extreme heat.

In my early days in the middle east there was ALWAYS a small pot of salt tablets on the table at every meal - salt deficiency was a chargeable offence if it caused you to faint or similar.

Oh how the wheel goes around ......   :)
