P135 of the Vectra C manual simply suggests getting the lights adjusted for continentality at 'an approved Vauxhall workshop'

That's what my Merc handbook says too.

There are lever inside like my (HID) Omega has.

I guess its a setting like the Omega one, that doesn't convert it to LHD, but just sets it to a lower position with no 'kick-up' on the right of the beam pattern, so not dazzling to RHD or LHD use, thus universally OK (albeit it with low lights = less visibility)
