Apparently fitting a fuse into slot 37 of your fusebox does the job, page 111 in your Manual. Hth :y

This from VXRonline.com:

Quote:- When I went to frog land I swapped my AFL's to European mode

From memory pull the stalk towards you, then turn the ignition on, and hold until you hear a beep, the afl warning light stays illuminated, when in European mode

No AFL = beam benders

It doesn't work on mine, and I haven't got beam benders.

At risk of being wrong ::)

Your car doesn't have Xenons or AFL fitted being an SE...

Adaptive Forward Lighting, including Bi Xenon lamps and headlight washers was/is only standard on the Elite, and at £945 ish as an option on tothers, is unlikely to make an appearance on much else :y

Called in at the dealers this morning, they didn't know what to do, so they searched Vx.

Solution when driving abroad (according to Vx), set beam to lowest!

Bearing in mind I will have a caravan in tow, setting to the lowest beam will probably bring the lights up to normal.

Sticking tape onto the lights is not an option, as there are no beam deflectors on the lense.

P135 of the Vectra C manual simply suggests getting the lights adjusted for continentality at 'an approved Vauxhall workshop' ::)
