I think I'd be getting in touch with OFCOM ;)

Incidentally, Three have been very good with any issues I have had and done their best to resolve them, even though you are speaking to somewhere in India :y

Think you may be right with OFCOM LD, not putting up with this shite from EE anymore, bit limited where I live, dispite Im only a few miles from the M25, No O2 or Three coverage, well not consistent anyway, so its Voda or EE for best coverage.

Ive been with Vodafone for 20 Years, Ok be it on a Business Tariff, still managed to retain my 50 percent discount this year for 12 months, cant honestly say Ive ever really had big issues with them TBH. So will stick them with me thinks.  ;)

It's a fundamental principal, upheld by OFCOM, that phone charges must be predictable, so you paying for the foreign part is total BS As said, Newbury is not desperately foreign, either.

You phone a mobile number, and get charged the same wherever that mobile is. The recipient pays the roaming fees.

I would certainly complain to OFCOM. (good luck with that, by the way - they're about as much use as a choccy teapot) ::)

Have you made a formal complain to T Mobile as yet? If not write to them with the heading "This is a formal complaint" and you may get a more useful reply than the call centre. What they are saying makes no sense - as Kevin said they can only charge you based on the number you call, in this case a UK mobile. It makes no difference where the call ends up that is upto Vodafone in this case. If you goto Ofcom it will be slow and painful, but it will also cost T Mobile money weather they win or lose so worth stating that as your next action in your letter to them.

I await your proposals for reimbursal of my costs which currently stand at:
3hrs Telephone calls @ £18 per hour = £54
2hrs research @ £18 per hour. = £36
Writing 1 letter @ £18
Postage and stationery £2

This is a total of  £110, and WILL increase if my complaint is not resolved to my satisfaction.

cos if you don't ask, you don't get  :y

That gets results ::) ;D
