I'm a simple man with simple needs.  Obviously my boat will have to be staffed with young fit birds whose uniform would consist of very short skirts for formal occasions, but they can wear skimpy bikinis to top up their tan at other times ::)

When the Germans decided to opt into the European monetry system and accept the Euro, they didnt know what they were letting themselves into.

He He. My German colleagues never shut up about how much sh1t the UK is in for not going the Euro route.

Much as I like the odd visit to Germany I couldn't live there. As said, everything is governed by rules and red tape. Not that the UK isn't getting dragged into that particular mindset itself, the Germans just have a few decades head start on us. >:(

i spent 8 years living in germany as a kid with BAOR loved it to bits ,but when i was driving in europe as trucker i used to avoid germany like the plague ,its all the silly rules they have like no overtaking other trucks on a two lane autobahn until after 1900 no fun when stuck behind a clapped out smokey east european truck, how things have changed as  its the brits who drive around in clapped out old trucks now . just to endorse what the rest have said welcome back to uk
