I bloody crapped meself when i saw the news during the night as you all know me an my swmbo fly out to florida next weekend for 3 weeks and we have paid cash(no credit cards saved up to go) i am praying 1st choice do not go bump next

Just an hour ago, I stopped my son from buying his ticket to New York on his Maestro card.  Here, I said, use my Mastercard - it's protected if the airline goes bust.

Silly me!  He may be secure, but I don't think I'm going to see my £300 again...

My mate at works due to fly back next week & he's with XL, oop's wonder if we'll ever see him again  

Totally sucks though, how can they be taking bookings just an hour before they fold, shouldn't be allowed. I hope someone gets a right good arse kicking
