I have an adslnation filtered face plate.

From here I have two lengths of STP connected to the crone blocks on the rear of the filtered face plate.

One set goes to the modem router in the airing cupboard as an extension of the broadband output.

The other goes to a junction box for house wide phone distribution.

Hence, no additional micro filters required as its filtered at the master.

It should be the ideal setup as its filtered close to the inlet with good quality twisted pair to take the signal to the router (note its STP so screened also!)

I have tried

Direct connection to the master
Different filters

Finaly got through to the tech help.......they suspect a fault at the exchange so have reported to our 'friends' at openreach.....5 days to fix

Did you mean Krone or is the mother-in-law visiting?

Now I have a service person.........they are telling me they aim for 3-5 days....but wont commit to that.

I questioned how much refund I would be getting.....and was told 0!

We shall see about that!

Now transfered to customer services!

Customer services can do nowt.....and the cancellation department shut at 8.00.....I was on hold for 35 rather minutes!

Barclays did that to me the other night when their offshore call centre put me through to an automated service that changed my mortgage without telling me what it was doing, so called back, was in a queue for about 20mins, then at the dot on 5:30, went to a recording saying we're shut, better luck next time sucker.

The poor pillock you answered the phone the next day regretted coming in to work that day  >:(

At least barclays had sorted the call tree out so that on the dot of 5.30 you got the message. There was a time when FVG had their Nortel call tree going nowhere for unanswered suckers who rang before the dept closed!
